I had been feeling a bit on the down side for too long and had been trying to come out of my lull but nothing I tried did any good. Yesterday, when I stuck my head out the back door, I was struck full force by the sun reflecting off the snow and this ritual suddenly came to me.
I took my chalice to my Beltane spot and gathered snow from all four corners. Brought it in and sat it in the middle of the altar and removed everything elese.
I called to the North, East, South and West, casting a circle.
Then I placed a green candle in front of the chalice and lite it. As the candle burned I prayed for change to take place within me just as it would with the snow. That I receive healing for my spirit. And that the energy that it takes to change the snow to water be sent to me to change the lull back into general good feelings. After the snow melted I blessed myself in the 7 charka areas to cleanse, then cleansed my altar with the snow and opened my circle.
